JOYFUL REUNION OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN FOR A VERY LONG TIME. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 28TH TO SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2018
Our Schedule for Jacs-Con
Friday September 28
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm (Hotel's Citrus Restaurant Lounge or the Event Room Foyer area): Welcome Cocktail Reception w/ passed hot/cold hors d'oeuvres. Cash bar. Meet & greet. Receive name badges + a little swag to commemorate the weekend.
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Mt. Pleasant Room): Three-course plated dinner. Cash bar.
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm/Midnight: Chat & catch up. See how everyone else is connected to me. About 10:00 pm we'll have a fresh fruit mirror with chocolate dip, an assorted cheese board w/ crackers + coffee/tea.
Saturday September 29th
Buffet Breakfast (included in hotel room cost). 6:30am-10:30am on weekends (6:00am-10:00am on weekdays)
*Free day for exploring Toronto for those not going on the optional tour. Places I suggest: Metro Toronto Zoo, Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) or take a ferry over to one of the Toronto Islands
8:30 am - 4:30 pm - OPTIONAL 8-hour private customized escorted tour of T.O. Please be in the hotel lobby by 8:15 am so we can leave on time.
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm (approx.) - Group Dinner at Uncle Tony's, a local pizzeria. We're buying out the restaurant on that night. It sounds expensive but reality is it's more economical than going to a bigger restaurant. Plus I like the idea of just us being the only ones there :)
After dinner you may want to experience Toronto's annual NUIT BLANCHE which just happens to fall on this Saturday night. It's a free all-night contemporary art event that invites the adventurous to take to the streets from sunset to sunrise.
Sunday September 30th
(Again buffet breakfast is included w/ hotel room cost)
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Official farewell lunch at 360, the revolving restaurant at the CN Tower. After our three-course meal we'll get full access to the Lookout Level + Glass Floor Levels.
Afterwards you could go explore Ripley's Aquarium only a 5-7 minute walk from the base of the CN Tower.
Monday October 1
Post Jacs-Con: Optional Full Day Tour to see the Fall Colours. We will either be going to the Muskokas/Algonquin Park area or the Kawarthas.More info in re to pricing/itinerary TBA. From the response I received will likely look into getting a bus for 20-30 people.

Group ID to quote: Jacqueline Anderson Family Reunion
Grand Hotel contact info: Phone: 416-863-9000 (or toll free 1-877-32-GRAND i.e. 1-877-324-7263) and ask for reservations. OR Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
When should we book?
These special rates will be valid until August 28, 2018 (30 day cut off), HOWEVER because The Grand is considered a small-midsized hotel (less than 200 rooms) my advice is to book your room ASAP especially as there is no charge until you arrive at the hotel (or you don't cancel before 4:00 pm Toronto time the first day of arrival). While we have this courtesy room block, which is great for our group, it also means it's not a firm hold and can sell out. This is convention season in Toronto. Even if you're on the fence about joining us, I still say book the room and then cancel it if you're certain you can't make it. I'd rather you have a room than cancel than decide that you'll be coming and then find out you can't get a room.
